Web Based Server Management

To manage your dedicated server, you need not be a net savvy system admin. You can perform key configurations like, adding domains, software upgrade, back up / restore, ODBC, email server, FTP server, DNS server by a click on your mouse.

The biggest advantage in having a dedicated server is that, you can create customized control panels for managing your server. You can host a domain directly by yourself or allow your admin user to do so.

Your dedicated server comes with VNC pre-installed as standard. This allows you to install your own server applications like shopping cart etc.

Network & Bandwidth

All dedicated servers will have a standard bandwidth allocation of 600 GB per month unless specified. Additional bandwidth usage will be charged with Rs.1200 per GB per month.

All our dedicated servers are hosted in data centers which support all major Wide Area Networking Protocols and include Frame Relay based services providing comprehensive solutions for secured IP, Multiprotocol and NA networking needs. rackboxes provides as many as 24 reports on the server statistics like Event log, CPU Usage, Network Status, Disk Memory etc.

Back Up / Restoration

Back up is very essential in case you host multiple web sites. We can install back up from your control panel itself.  All our dedicated servers have separate back up partitions. You can also back up your Web server configuration which can restored later saving days together.  Back up will be charged extra.

Software

rackboxes has strategic tie up with many of the server software providers. Hence, all the software installed in the server are genuine and original. Additional to this you can also run other software programs through VNC.

IP Allocation

rackboxes will allocate 5 IP addresses for per server. In case of additional IP you will be charged with Rs.1200 per IP per annum.

Hardware

As traffic to your server grows, rackboxes can easily upgrade your server to ensure your server's continued availability. rackboxes can add hard drives, RAM, processors and software applications to your server to increase its functionality as your business expands. rackboxes can upgrade the server configuration as per your request at an additional charge. Charges will be purely based on requirements. We guarantee the following services as follows:

• Initiate Server reboot within 45 min. In case of linux servers the time period might be extended.
   
• Attend to hardware failure within 45 min.
   
• Hardware upgrade within 2 business days.

Server reboot

If you would like us to reboot the server, we promise to Initiate do this within 45 min. [ In case of linux servers the time period might be extended ]

Hardware Failure

Our technical staff will attend to any hardware fault within 45 min. from the time of your intimation and will continue to report about the status in regular intervals.

Hardware Upgrade

If you request for a hardware up gradation, we guarantee to do this within 48 hrs. from the time of intimation. But this is subject to the availability of the server parts. In case of hard disk or other vital server components upgrade we will take min. 4 business day.
